EPIC HR was formed on a base passion for fairness. The vision attempting to provide a connect between employer and employee.

Etienne's qualification as an independent disciplinary chairman [IDC] has been developed over years as a leader and manager of manufacturing facilities. Need for HR practitioners who understood business and were available with services to the small and medium companies provided an opportunity once Etienne completed the MBA. The opportunity being available because small and medium enterprises were not willing to outlay the cost of establishing HR departments, yet still required the resource HR practitioners had to offer.

Etienne's experience is predominantly in operations and production fundamentally in manufacturing. Many of these years involved working in a much unionised environment. Dealing with a unionised workforce meant learning to facilitate reward and discipline in a fair manner. Etienne found the skills acquired in his years as a manager an asset in a niche using EPIC HR.
